Support Children’s Science Center

Excitement continues to build for our children’s museum project in Northern Virginia, and families from around the region always ask us, “When will you open Children’s Science Center?” We’re working as quickly as we can, but we need your help.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, we depend on charitable gifts from individuals, businesses, foundations and community organizations to fulfill our mission to spark children's interest in science through a variety of interactive exhibits and engaging programs that stimulate creativity, encourage exploration of math and science, and promote active learning.

Individuals also can support our efforts by volunteering their time, talents and skills to the organization. The success of the Children’s Science Center depends on a diverse volunteer corps who act as our representatives in the community or provide their professional skills and talents. Volunteers have helped to staff our “Museum Without Walls” booths at community events, oversee the center’s accounting, write press releases and much more.

The Children’s Science Center would like to thank the Junior League of Northern Virginia for its support since 2006, when it named the children’s museum as its signature project, providing for a major five-year commitment of financial and manpower support.

The Children’s Science Center also would like to thank Washington FAMILY Magazine for its continuous support since the inception of the children’s museum project.
