Spring 2010 Museum Without Walls Events
Spring is filled with numerous festivals across the region. Help us share the wonders of science and build excitement for the future science center by participating in a Museum Without Walls event this spring -- we still need about 20 volunteers over four different dates, so there are many shifts to choose from! These are fun, easy and informative outreach activities that are critical to building awareness about the Children's Science Center and the science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) education issues facing our region and country. Volunteers will make a significant impact on our community as we expect several hundred children and their families to participate in our activities at these well-attended events.

May 30 - 31 Viva Vienna! Festival
We will be debuting a new activity at this popular event.
Available shifts include:
May 30 12:30-3:30, and 3:30-6:30
May 31 12:30-3:30. and 3:30-6:30

June 5 - 6 Herndon Festival
The Herndon Council for the Arts is thrilled to have us back with our popular magic shaving cream activity.
Available shifts include:
June 5 12:30-3:30, and 3:30-5:30
June 6 11:30-2:30, and 2:30-5:30
